North vs South Persuasive Essay
 
You are an American in the mid 1800’s. You have some relatives coming over from Europe. They want your advice on where they should live when they make it to America. Your job is to write your relatives a letter as an American living in the North OR the South. You have to convince your relatives to immigrate to the place where you live. In your letter be sure to include the following points.
 
  • The Geography and why it is appealing (5 points)
  • The Economy and why it would provide your relatives the best opportunity to succeed (5 Points)
  • Transportation provided and how it makes their lives easier/more efficient (5 Points)
  • Society and what makes life living in the North/South a better place to live (5 Points)
